Years ago, my mother worked multiple cleaning jobs while my father held a demanding role. Despite her busy schedule, she always made time for me and my sister, shaping our childhood with love and guidance.
As Guy and I built our family business, our busy schedules left little time for household chores. Inspired by my mother’s commitment to a clean home, we hired cleaners, transforming our lives. The change in our home led us to start The Handy Family Cleaning Company.
With dedication and attention to detail, we’ve become a household name, taking pride in making a difference, just as my mother did. Our journey from humble beginnings to success is a testament to our parents' values—a story of love, perseverance, and the power of a clean start.

Me & Dee has a simple mission, to ensure families going through difficult and uncertain times are gifted with memories they can treasure, never losing sight of what truly matters. Because it’s those special moments shared with the ones we love, no matter how complicated circumstances may be, that are most precious of all.
They can’t change the difficult times. But together they can help families going through life-changing circumstances to laugh and smile when they need it most, making sure it’s the special times that will always be remembered. Their lodge in Sherwood Forest on the Sherwood Hideaway site is a place where families can spend together in a tranquil setting. It’s a place where families can leave the hospital visits behind, a break from the lovely doctors and nurses who look after them, giving them time to be a family again.
The me&dee Hideaway location is close to so many attractions that families can get to should they wish to venture out and enjoy. With your support, families and children facing life-changing and limiting circumstances can find the space to celebrate the precious time they have together.

Anna has 25+ years of business experience in beauty, retail, design, and development. She has worked for both small businesses and large franchises, gaining a wealth of knowledge that allows her to deliver the very best service experience to her clients.
Anna runs The Handy Family Company with her husband Guy and son Bobby, and she’s also a trustee at Redgate Animal Sanctuary in Markfield — a role that reflects her deep love for animals and commitment to giving back.
At home, she shares life with two crazy spaniels, Bonnie and Lagertha, and brings warmth, laughter, and a genuine sense of care to everything she does. She’s a rare find — someone who not only works hard but lifts the spirits of everyone around her.
Kelly
Kelly has gained a lot of experience in cleaning over the years, including her time at Twycross House Independent School. She is known for her warm nature and consistently goes above and beyond for her customers, always ensuring they receive the highest standard of service.
Kelly lives with her husband Chris, daughter Liv, and her beloved Spaniels, Chester and Indie. Did you know Kelly also has a passion for horses?
In her spare time, you’ll often find her relaxing with a good real crime drama on Netflix — she loves a gripping mystery!
Ellie
Ellie has gained a great deal of experience in customer service over the years and brings that same friendly, can-do attitude to her role every single day. A proud single mum to Tommy, Ellie is an incredibly hard worker who juggles family life with her dedication to making sure customers always have beautifully clean homes to return to.
She loves nothing more than spending quality time with her family and taking Tommy out on fun days out, making special memories together. Ellie’s commitment to her work is so strong that even when she visits friends and family, she can’t resist picking up a cloth and giving their homes a tidy too!
Her passion, reliability, and warmth make her a valued member of the team and a favourite with customers.
